My boyfriend and I have been dating for years and during our anniversaries he always gives me a Raymond Weil watch. We have been together for five years so I have five Raymond Weil watches in total. The very first one still looks good as the latest one I have. I keep all of the watches in a box which I hide inside my closet.
One time, my sister went inside my room because she wanted to borrow something. I wasn’t around during that time so she helped herself in. She figured I wouldn’t mind if she looked through my stuff, so she went inside my closet to look for some clothes to borrow. While rummaging through my stuff, she found the box with my watches. She opened it and saw the Raymond Weil watches I was keeping.
That day when I got home, she interrogated me. She asked how I ever got to afford the watches that I had in my closet, especially the gold one. I told her they were gifts from my boyfriend over the years. She asked me why I didn’t tell anybody in the family about it. I told her that I didn’t want the whole family fawning over the expensive gifts that my boyfriend got me.
